Patterson Sports - Miniature Golf Ballpark Batting Driving Range Golf Lessons

Driving Range

We are Richmond’s best and here’s why…

We know golf is played on grass, that’s why we have 26 grass tee boxes , irrigated and rotated frequently.

You need to know exact distances to targets, that’s why we have laser measured distances on each of our 25 matted tee boxes.

You want true grass feel and no jarring when hitting on mats, that’s why each of our mats is the Tartan Turf system. With a rubber base weighing over 120 pounds, as well as a stance mat and a brush mat fitted with rubber tees that accommodate a wood tee, you will have the truest to grass experience on our mats.

You want targets that will allow you to use the full range of your clubs, that’s why we have target greens from 50 to 260 yards. Hit the GONG and you will win a free large bucket of balls.

You want a first quality practice range with fair prices. Check these out and find out just why we are voted Richmond’s favorite golf park. We hope we will become your favorite golf park too.

Miniature Golf

We are Richmond’s best and here’s why…

You want a miniature golf range that is fun for all age groups.

You want a miniature golf range that is both challenging for the skilled yet fun for the novice.

You want a miniature golf range that is accessible for handicapped persons and the aged.

You want a miniature golf range that is affordable.

You want a miniature golf range that is family friendly

What are you waiting for?

Patterson Sports Park has been family operated for over 30 years. Come play our two miniature golf courses and navigate around life-sized animals and moving obstacles. Your shots will bounce off our new wooden bumpers, not some concrete blocks that cause your shots to ricochet. Challenge yourself with some of the longest miniature golf holes in Virginia. Our new Jane Farrell pinhigh greens are rated for roll, approximating actual grass greens. And for the lucky or the skilled, at the end of our courses is a chance to win a free game by shooting into our pinball-like 19th holes.

Ballpark Batting

We are Richmond’s best and here’s why…

We at Patterson Sports Park know the following:
Baseball is played on a field.
Baseball is not played in a cage.

That’s why we offer ballpark batting where you actually hit into a field.

Hit pop flies, line drives, ground balls and even home runs! For great, safer batting fun for people of all ages and abilities, our system uses True Flex commercial duty baseballs that give a satisfyingly true sound when hit.

Pour your bucket of baseballs into the baseball-feeding tray and enter the batting stations. Insert a start token and start receiving a pitch every 15 seconds.

How far can you hit it?

Now you’ll know and you won’t go anywhere else.

Margo is a 1975 graduate of Longwood University and has had years of tournament experience, not only on Longwood's Golf Team, but local and state's events as well.

Margo teaches all aspects of golf -posture, stance, alignment, the full swing, pitching, chipping, sand shots, putting, specialty shots, club recommendations, etiquette, rules and the mental side of the game.

Margo uses numerous training aids to simplify her lessons.

Her pupils include all ages and levels and she is available from opening to closing of our park.

Margo's main lesson goals are enjoyment, improvement and understanding of each pupil's swing problems. She wants her pupils to be aware of how to "fix" their swings on the own.

Margo's enthusiasm, encouragement and love of the game are truly contagious.

You may schedule a lesson with Margo by contacting us directly at 784-4544 or by calling her cell number, 928-4546, or home number, 740-4544.
